It's primary day in PA
A few points of interest:
From Politics PA: "Gov. Tom Wolf extended mail ballot deadlines by an additional week for Allegheny, Dauphin, Delaware, Erie, Montgomery, and Philadelphia counties; which will result in many key races not being called tonight."
Did Pennsylvania solve the issue we wrote about before here, concerning disabled voters' ability to vote without going to the polls where vote-by-mail doesn't work for them? Guess not. Will Pennsylvania disabled advocates sue the state under federal law? Looks like they have the grounds to. Watch this space.
Republicans are, however, challenging that move as unconstitutional. This is reminiscent of Wisconsin, where a similar challenge and result led to more people heading to the polls to vote on the day, and at least 71 people getting COVID-19 as a result.
What's at issue? Not who wins the Democratic presidential primary, obviously. More like these 10 legislative primaries
Sadly, none of these involve Sen. Katie Muth, who we've had our eye on lately. Some interesting information on her coming soon. Keep your eyes peeled.
